Classics in the Cultural Conversation

This journal aims to gather references to the great works of literature and knowledge as they occur in the general public conversation as it courses through the newspapers, magazines, blogs, websites, e-zines, movies, television, and so on.  We endeavor to gather our discoveries together each month in a collection that we hope will be thought-provoking, sometimes revelatory, and, we hope, always interesting.  More than once I've stumbled across an "I didn't know that" but of information that has led to me to works that I would have otherwise overlooked in my haste to catch up with masterpieces I have yet to peruse.
